Acoustikell-W is made of moulded glass wool shaped into a panel that is 30 to 35mm thick and shaped in a half wave. The porosity
of the material and the shape of the panel optimises the absorption coefficient.
Its effectiveness as a sound absorber is directly related to the airspace behind it. They are ideal for adapting and correcting the acoustics
of any type of environment with high reverberation times. They are very easy to install and offer an innovative design to enhance
an aesthetic finish.
The panels can be installed on a 1200x600mm wooden rectangular frame leaving an airgap as an option for additional sound insulation
or they can be glued or nailed directly to the surface using wooden battens.
The panels can be installed on a standard T-24 grid system using standard primary and secondary profiles. Smooth flat panels can be cut and used
in places where a whole Acoustikell-W form panel will not fit. (These need to be ordered separately)
